My name is Connie Gomez, better known as Momma of Dos & now Latina Momma in Houston!  A born and raised Texan. Grew up in a small Texas town near the Mexican border before moving to Houston in 1999 to attend the University of Houston where I received my Bachelor's in Psychology with a minor in Health. I have worked in the non-profit and governmental sectors most of my career. These days I work around the clock to take care of my little Mexican-American family both in and outside our home.

I work full-time outside the home as an Administrative Coordinator in the Manufacturing Industry, and I love to volunteer and blog in my non-existent spare time. I have over 15 years of work experience. I have worked in the medical and non-profit sectors as well. I was a communications coordinator for Harris County in the Elections Department for 4 years. And, even took a 7 month break in 2012-2013 to be a Stay-at-Home-Momma. I quickly discovered that job was not for me and returned to the workforce. I enjoy everything I do! 

My family is composed of my Husband, who is also a University of Houston graduate and my Dos amazing, yes amazing, children; Camila, a 3 year old Diva, and Santiago, a 4 year old Legend. I have been featured online on Parenting and Lifestyle sites such as; Time to Play Magazine, TeeWii and Houston Mom's Blog where I share not only my experiences as a Momma but also tips and ideas on ways to improve personal and family life. I have led several local brand campaigns and have been invited to attend blogger conferences such as Latism, Ford Trend Conference, Blogalicious and Blog Elevated.

• I was a full-time local Contributor over at Houston Moms Blog a local resource website.

• I have been featured online on Parenting and Lifestyle sites such as; Time to Play Magazine, Houston Mom's Blog, &  TeeWii.

• I have been asked to create and participate in several brand name campaigns as well as coordinate  local promotional events which you can all be reviewed on my website.

• I am part of and participate in several Local & Nationwide Blogger/Marketing groups as well as  Hispanic Media resource groups via Facebook.

• I was also featured on Local Channel 45 Univision's Vive la Manana as a successful Houston Hispanic Parenting blogger, where I shared what becoming a successful blogger consist of.
